What I do

Three ways to
work together.

Paid by commission

Insurance brokerage — compensated by commission

When a product genuinely fits, I can help arrange term life, permanent and whole life, indexed universal life, annuities, disability and long-term care coverage, subject to licensing and product availability. When I act as an insurance broker and place coverage, I will be compensated by the insurer. Before you proceed, I will explain the role I am serving and how that engagement is compensated.

Specialized money saving service

Fee-based second-opinion insurance analysis

I hold a specialized Insurance Advisor License in some states, distinct from a sales license, that allows me to charge a fee to analyze insurance you already own or are considering. You can engage me for a review without a requirement to purchase a product. I can also discuss some products I do not sell that you may want to purchase elsewhere.

I am happy to take a quick look at what you have at no charge.

The availability and scope of fee-based insurance analysis depends on the state and the capacity in which I am engaged. The fee is always agreed upon in advance of any analysis, and put in writing, as required by law.

Paid directly by you

Coaching and mentoring through Synergix

Business, leadership and decision coaching is delivered separately through Synergix. That work can include decision-making, business strategy, leadership challenges, behavior patterns and personal development.

Areas where I can help

Financial foundations

Get the early decisions right — coverage, savings structure, and what to ignore.

Insurance optimization

Reduce costs, close gaps, eliminate overlap, and understand what you actually own.

Retirement & income planning

Build toward it, then turn it into income that lasts and is taxed efficiently.

Long-term care planning

For your parents, and for you. The earlier this is addressed, the more options exist.

Business & executive solutions

Align your company's finances with your personal ones instead of running them separately.

Wealth transfer & legacy

Pass on what you've built with clarity, intention, and no surprises.

Financial education

Learn to evaluate financial products and ask better questions.

Home, auto & commercial property

Review everyday coverage needs and explore available options or referrals.

Second opinions

Already own it?

Before you cancel, replace, surrender, borrow against or add to it, understand exactly what you have.

Being offered something new?

Before you sign, compare the proposal with your objectives, alternatives, costs, guarantees, non-guaranteed assumptions, surrender terms, tax considerations and the consequences of changing course later.

A second opinion is useful precisely because the answer may be “keep what you have.”

Bad advice is expensive. Good guidance pays for itself.

Wherever you are — first real paycheck or last day of work — the next decision matters more than the last one. Let's make sure you get it right.
